$BUDZ is a community web3 project that was founded by several OG SpaceBudz NFT holders. We are here to foster community growth, innovate, and have fun exploring the cosmos!
Each Spacebudz has a multiplier determined by the type trait. The higher the multiplier, the more rewards you receive!
A daily rate of BUDZ tokens is proportionally distributed among all staked SpaceBudz.
Your share of the rewards depends on the total points you have from your staked Spacebudz. Each Spacebudz contributes points based on its multiplier (see above).
The more Spacebudz you stake—and the higher your total multiplier—the greater your share of the daily rewards.
- User A stakes 1 NFT (multiplier = 1x) → 1 point
- User B stakes 2 NFTs (each multiplier = 2x) → 2 + 2 = 4 points
Total points: 1 + 4 = 5
If the daily base rate is 10,000 BUDZ:
- User A gets 1/5 × 10,000 = 2,000 BUDZ
- User B gets 4/5 × 10,000 = 8,000 BUDZ
We track the total days each Spacebudz NFT is staked—this is your cumulative days in cryosleep.
- User A stakes 2 NFTs for 1 day = 2 days staked.
- User B stakes 1 NFT for 3 days = 3 days staked.
Unstaking assets and restaking them does NOT impact the accumulaton of days in cryosleep.
- User A stakes 2 NFTs for 1 day, then User A unstakes 1 NFT and keeps 1 NFT staked for another day = 3 days staked.
Type trait multiplier does NOT have any impact on cumulative days in cryosleep.
Approximately 100M $BUDZ (10% of supply) have been purchased off secondary by the founders and dedicated to issuing SpaceBudz NFT holders additional rewards from the initial airdrop that all holders received in 2024. The staking amount is expected to last for 3 years from the launch of this platform (May 2025 - May 2028).
$BUDZ minted on Snek.fun with a fair mint, all dev allocation was purchased on secondary and sent to all SpaceBudz holders in 2024. 3322 distinct addresses, across 9760 unstaked SpaceBudz (V1 + V2) were airdropped $BUDZ tokens at a rate of 21,531 per NFT. The founders covered the cost of the airdrop. No further airdrops are currently planned.
